About Us
The Astronomy and Aerospace Club (AAC) of the University of the Fraser Valley was founded in 2022 by a group of physics students dedicated to sharing their passion of the universe with others. Primarily based on the Abbotsford Campus, we are an active and enthusiastic student club who plan space-related events and activities. We like to keep up the excitement and are always welcoming new members to take part! Simply put, we love getting together to explore what we love - astronomy and aerospace.
If you decide to join us, you will gain access to various events and most importantly, a community of people who are just as interested with the cosmos as you are.

Hello everyone! As I'm studying physics and philosophy here at UFV, I am excited to further explore my passion of astronomy with the AAC. I'm really looking forward to meeting more people who are curious about outer space and can't wait to see you all during our events!

Hello! I am Dew Chiba. I am studying Physics at The University of The Fraser Valley, and I love everything about space! I am so excited to learn more about astronomy through the AAC, and I hope to see you at future events!

Hi! I am Sydney Plante, and I am just finishing my last semester in Physics at UFV before heading to graduate school. I have always loved space and wanted to learn everything about it so I hope to show the same excitement to the AAC. I cannot wait to meet you all and have some amazing events!

Hi everyone! I'm currently in my fourth year studying physics and I'm excited to be a part of the AAC! After my undergrad, I hope to continue studying physics at the graduate level. I am also an executive for WEST and outside of school I love to read, paint, and crochet!
